Asbestos Abatement - Ann Arbor, MI

Wells Environmental was contacted to oversee the abatement of some damaged fittings on a fire riser system in a 19 story apartment complex in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A valve was leaking and needed to be replaced. The workers began to replace the valve when they noticed the adjacent piping was covered with asbestos insulation. Wells Environmental surveyed the job and, within four days, was on site to do the abatement. Air sampling was conducted inside and outside of the containment and then clearance samples were run to ensure the environment was safe for the repairs.
