The City of Toledo has recently been sending out letters to rental owners throughout Toledo concerning their lead ordinance. If you received one of these, give us a call! While it may be both surprising and overwhelming, it's not really that difficult to comply. Our technicians will do a walkthrough looking for peeling paint on the interior and exterior of the home. If the paint is in good condition, we collect 12 wipe samples from 4 different rooms. Additionally, large areas of exposed dirt beneath the eaves may be sampled. These samples are then sent to the laboratory and a report is issued explaining what was seen and the laboratory results.
